A social issue is an issue that has an effect on a large number of people. The social issue I will be discussing is endangered elephants. Before I started reading this book, I thought that elephants were just regular, free animals. But after I read this book I started to understand that elephants are very badly endangered. I have learned a lot about elephants throughout this unit on endangered elephants. I will tell you some facts about elephants, problems, and possible solutions to solve those problems.

I know many interesting facts about elephants for instance, I know that elephants are herbivores. Elephants have prehensile ( something able to move things) trunks. Elephants that come from Asia usually do not have tusks . Do you know that elephants are beginning to charge at people for destroying their habitats? Elephants have huge ears that they can fan when they are tired and hot .Elephants have not been able to find food since people started ruining their habitats . Most importantly they are endangered animals.

There are many reasons why elephants are endangered. Habitat loss, ivory poaching, killed during wars, and working elephants. But ivory poaching and working elephants are main causes. Elephants get poached for ivory that makes jewelry and art. Elephants also get taken away from herds to work for Asians and Africans.

There are many things you can do to help elephants. A couple of solutions I have are, to vote on all places to be off-limits to hunters. Another three solutions are to convince zoos to make more places for captivity and, people shouldn’t have elephants work for them. You could easily make your own website, to help endangered elephants also.

Even though elephants aren’t humans, they still have feelings. People should respect them. You would go into other farmers food if you didn’t have any either. So I’d appreciate it if you helped elephants, they would too. Thank-you.

Social issues are problems that affect the whole group. Now I will tell you a social issue. I’m reading a book called Endangered Elephants. I am going to tell you facts about elephants.

Let me tell you about elephants. Elephants dig for salt to stay healthy. Elephants are the biggest animal in the jungle. Elephants, as you know, are mammals and are warm blooded. . Since I told you facts, now I would like to tell you more about elephants. Read on!

Now let me tell you why elephants are endangered. The two reasons are ivory poaching and people trading ivory to wear as jewelry. Those are two reasons why elephants are endangered. Now let me tell you ways to help elephants. There are two ways to help elephants. One ways is to tell people not to poach elephants. The second way is to put elephants in a bigger society. By this, I mean their habitats are getting destroyed.

Now I told facts about elephants, I told you why elephants are endangered, and I told ways to help them to. I really hope you take action this problem. I don’t want other kids growing up and saying that elephants where just fake .I want to say that elephants were peaceful animals until people came and started to poach them and sell their tusk’s for money and this is not fair to the public, nature and the elephants. In my belief I think elephants should not get all this madness.

It is not good to use elephants to do things that are dangerous. Some people start to whip the elephants for moving slow. I am going to say elephants carry a lot of fat so you can’t make them go any faster then the speed there going. Thank you for your time. I hope you care and help save the elephants.

Sincere

I have been studying elephants. I have been reading a book called Endangered Elephants, looking at pictures and searching on the computer. I ‘m going to write about endangered elephants. I hope you like my paper.

Did you know that elephants trunks are prehensile. That means “able to grasp, lift, and throw.” The elephants tusks do never stop growing. And by the way their tusks are made of ivory. Elephants are stolen to be taken somewhere fun for kids—the circus!

Did I tell you that elephants are endangered? Endangered means animals that are in ‘danger’ of dying out in the wild. There are many reasons that there endangered. Their habitats are being destroyed. Poachers are killing them. You want to know why? They kill them for art and jewelry.

Do you want to help elephants? If you do, follow these directions. Vote to ban ivory and help elephants by saving their habitats. "Akimbo and the Elephant" is just like what I'm talking about. It's about a boy that tries to save the elephant from the Ivory trade.

A social issue is a large problem that affects the whole society. A social issue is if a person pours something like oil or gasoline in the ocean it will affect other animals. Some people who drink the water will be affected by it because they will get sick.

I know that Asian elephants have no tusks. A juvenile elephant is a child elephant that is just starting to grow its tusks. A mature male elephant is called a bull. A mature female elephant is called a cow. A baby is called a calf and it’s hairy when it’s born.

Elephants are endangered because when the elephants come on farmers crop they throw fires and shoot them. They are also endangered because poachers are killing them because they want their tusks for ivory. They are endangered because some African countries are at war and elephants can’t get the food and water they need.

One way I think I can help elephants by making shelter to hide them from poachers. Another thing I would do to help is to hire people to go in the jungle and see if the elephants are ok.

What I have learned is that elephants are a huge part of our community. Also I learned that elephants tusks are very valuable. I am writing this because I want to inform you to stop killing elephants for their tusks and try to help.

I would like to talk to you about endangered elephants. I’d would like to introduce myself. I’m a third grade scholar that attends a charter school in Brooklyn. I persuade people to help elephants stay alive. Elephants don’t DESERVE to be treated like this. People need to think before they do. Your actions speak louder than your words!

Female elephants do everything together. When male elephants mature, they become violent. The matriarch drives the bull out of the herd. Bulls live in herds called bachelor herds. In bachelor herds elephants use their tusks and trunks to fight.

They are endangered because of ivory poaching. People in Africa kill elephants for their tusks to make jewelry. Their tusks are made out of ivory. They also work themselves to death.

These are some ideas to help elephants. We probably could take all the elephants to a wildlife preserve. We could learn more and more about elephants and study them.

Thank you for your time. I hope you would be a helping hand to save the elephants. Thank you for reading my essay. Visit our website to help us save the elephants.

A social issue is a problem in society. A social issue you’re going read today is about endangered elephants. I’m going to tell you a few facts about elephants!

I know some things about African elephants. If want to know about them read this. Elephants spray water on themselves to keep cool. Elephants swat bugs with their tails. Elephants get stolen for jobs at the circus. Elephants are herbivores. Elephants use their tusks to dig up dirt and rocks at salt licks. Elephants do everything together. Elephants are mammals, so they get pregnant and get babies.

Some solutions are telling people stop killing elephants. Start giving elephants food before the performance. Also, try writing a letter to people who are killing, stealing elephants. Elephants are my favorite animal in the whole entire world. That’s why you should stop killing elephants. I have told you facts, how elephants are endangered, and some solutions.

Social issues are issues that affect the society in a big way. Social issues are from no electricity to the President dieing right as he was going to make an important speech. Some were in between there is endangered elephants. That brings me to say this is going to be about African elephants. The things you will read about are facts about elephants, why they’re endangered and some solutions.

Did you know that elephants used to be peaceful animals? Now elephants charge at people because they have loss so many family members, even there calves (babies) are dying.
Here are some facts about elephants. Elephants trunks are prehensile (able to grasp, lift, and throw). They are also the elephants upper lip and nose. Elephants weigh five to seven tons and elephants are called pachyderms meaning thick skinned. Elephants have wrinkles in there skin because they hold water in them to keep cool because they are usually in the desert and I’m sure you know deserts are hot a lot so that helps them keep cool.

Elephants are endangered because of lots of reasons but here are 2 reasons because of habitat loss and ivory poaching which means poachers poach elephants for there ivory on there tusk. And habitat loss means with fires kill plant, habitats and elephants. Also the reason they are dying is they are being starved to do tricks at circuses.

Here are two things you can do that can help elephants. One is to make sure no one you know hunts elephants and maybe make something to help elephants like originations. To give you ideas to how to make an origination I would write a letter to the President to tell him why you would want to start an organization to help elephants or any other animal. Then, if he responds to you, do what he says and then you are done.

I hope these facts about elephants why there are endangered and solutions may inspire you to somehow help elephants. Elephants were peaceful lets make them peaceful again for my sake, your sake and the elephants sake. Please help the elephants.

I am going to tell you some facts that I know about elephants. My paper is going to be about endangered elephants, why they are endangered and ways to help them. If you would like to help endangered elephants all you have to do is read this paper and find out. I know that elephants are mammals and that they are warm-blooded. If two male elephants start a fight, they use their trunks to fight.
The most important thing about elephants is they are endangered. They are endangered because of habitat loss, ivory poaching and working. They are also endangered because people have wars in their habitats. They are also endangered because they get sold to the circus and get whipped.
I would help endangered elephants by calling the people who want elephants to be safe and tell them they are dying. I would tell them they are dying because of ivory poaching, habitat los and because of war. I would also help elephants by trying to stop people who I see poaching.
That is everything I know about endangered elephants. If you would like to help elephants, go to our website. I wrote this to encourage people to help elephants. I don’t think elephants should be treated like this because elephants did not do anything to people. I don’t think this is fair because elephants are loving and caring creatures. I think this madness should stop.
